AUTUMN PROGRAMMES IN VILLÁNY

In a wine region autumn months are all about the harvest, but that doesn’t mean one should forget about events offering some relaxation. Musical, cultural and gastronomic programmes, wine tastings, merry festivals and serious professional events will add variety to this autumn.

25-26 November 2022.
Franc & Franc International Forum and Tasting Day

The first FRANC&FRANC international conference and tasting day was organized in 2015 as an event symbolizing the unity of Villány winemakers and it also hosted Cabernet Franc producers and their wines from the Loire region. Over the years, all the major European and New World Cabernet Franc producing regions had the opportunity to represent themselves at a professional event focusing on the variety, bringing together people who believe in Cabernet Franc and make varietal wines from it.

The most prestigious trade and public event in the Villány wine region this year takes a tour of the world, showcasing a wide spectrum of Cabernet Francs from outstanding wine regions. The theme of the event will also provide an opportunity to incorporate the experience and the presentation of the TOP wines of the Franc du Monde, a major wine competition that will be held for the first time in 2022, into the programme of the trade and the public day.
