The long weekend in May brings spring back to the Villány wine region. These days, it’s not only the great wines and the vineyards turning green that make it worth travelling to Villány, but also this year’s four-day Villány Wine Buzz.
On these days, wine lovers are also welcome in the wine region with fixed date programmes and all-day events at numerous venues. Cellar tours, tastings, guided tours, barbecues, spritzers – there’s something for everyone.
This is also a great opportunity to get to know the Attila Gere Winery in depth, as we welcome guests for wine tastings and cellar tours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
On Thursday and Friday afternoons from 4:00 pm, after the cellar tour, Attila Gere’s top wines will be presented, and on Saturday from 4:00 pm we will be waiting for the dedicated wine lovers with a special Kopar vertical, where we will be presenting six lots, including the 20th anniversary vintage. A question often asked by our guests is how to participate in a Kopar tasting of several selected vintages, which allows you to compare the character of different vintages and how the wine evolves in the bottle. Well, the time has come, but to be on the safe side, we recommend that you book your place before the event, also because Andrea Gere and Attila Gere will personally lead this tasting.
