Questions and answers pertain to reservation, payment and payment terms:
1. What time in advance is it necessary to book a room?
Due to the capacity of our hotel we recommend you to be so kind to inquire about reservation, free rooms – independently from season – min. 1 month before in the case of weekend trip and min. 2 weeks before in the case of weekday trip!
2. Is it necessary to send written order for reservation?
Yes, we ask you to be so kind to confirm your reservation in written form with sending a short email to firstname.lastname@example.org or through the online booking menu on our website.
3. Shall we decide which package to choose when making the reservation or we have time to decide it on the spot?
Yes, we would like to ask you to choose the package when making the reservation if possible. Because of the capacity of our restaurant and wellness section we can not guarantee the free places and times if choosing on the spot.
4. Is it necessary to pay deposit with the reservation?
Yes we ask to pay 50% of the reservation in advance.
5. When and how can we pay the deposit?
Please be so kind to pay the deposit until the date indicated on our advanced payment request letter sent with the confirmation but 10 days before arrival latest. You can pay the deposit several ways. You have the possibility to transfer to the given bank account, or provide the data (card number, name of owner, expiration date) of your bank- or credit card but we also accept recreation cheques sent by post (within the expiry date of the cheque). In the case of bank- or credit card guarantee we do not block the amount.
6. What can we pay with?
In our hotel you can pay with HUF, recreation cheques and various bank- and credit cards (visa, mastercard, eurocard, cirrusmaestro, american express). Furthermore we accept health insurance savings bank cards too (patika, otp, axa, k&h, tempo, mkb).
7. If accidentaly we can not travel what happens with the paid amount?
We handle the paid deposit and the credit card guarantee according the disclaimer terms written in the confirmation.
8. I have a presentation voucher, how can I use it?
The presentation vouchers issued by us usually valid for 6 months. These can be used for the room type indicated on the voucher and valid for weekday or weekend application. The vouchers can not be used for advantaged and festival seasons. The voucher does not guarantee automatic reservation possibility and can be used in regard to the free rooms.
Questions about the rooms:
1. When can we occupy the room and when do we have to check out?
It is possible to occupy the rooms on the day of arrival from 14:00. On the day of departure please leave them until 11:00 latest. Early log in and late checking out is possible in the case of advance verification and for extra charge.
2. Is there bath robe in the room?
Yes we provide the usage of towel and robe for our hotel guests for free. If staying less than 3 days we can exchange the robe only for extra charge.
3. Is it possible to smoke in the hotel or in the room?
The hotel is non-smoking, we provide possibility for smoking for our restauramt guests in the cigar salon or on the terrace.
4. Do the rooms have balcony?
Three rooms have balcony or terrace.
5. What is the difference between Superior and Standard rooms?
The Standard rooms and bath rooms are smaller and their furnishment is simpler than the Superior room’s. The Standard rooms are simpler designed rooms but comply with the standard of the hotel.
6. Are there rooms for families?
Yes, we can provide 2 Superior and 4 Standard family rooms for our family guests. The Superior family room consists of 2 detached rooms and 1 mutual bathroom. In the rooms there are one double bed and two separated beds. Spare bed is available. The Standard family rooms have common airspace and appropriate for 4 persons plus for 1 person on spare bed.
7. How many persons can sleep in the Superior rooms?
In all Superior rooms there is one big double bed (can be transformed into 2 separated beds if needed). In 7 rooms there is one extractable spare bed for a max. 12-14 years old child and in 2 rooms there is an adult-size spare bed. In more rooms it is also possible to depose a spare bed/child bed.
Questions about the wellness service:
1. Can we use the wellness section after checking out?
Yes, after leaving the rooms it is possible to use the wellness for free.
2. Is it advised to fix a time in advance resort to the wellness treatments?
Yes, because of the popularity and capacity of our wellness section we can only guarantee the fixed treatment and time in the case of preliminary written registration.
3. How can we collate time for the treatments?
The claim for the chosen treatment and time must be indicated in written form toward the wellness reception sending an email to: email@example.com We guarantee the treatment and time with our written confirmation. The necessity of registration not only applies for the vinotherapy treatments (massages, face- and body treatments, etc.) and wellness service for pairs (wine- and aroma baths) can be found in hotel packages, but also for every other wellness services (except the pool and sauna usage). In the case of registration on the spot, it may happen that we can not provide the requested treatment.
4. Is sauna sheet provided?
Yes, the hotel guests can ask sauna sheet at the wellness reception. We can provide 1 sauna sheet for 1 person during the stay in the hotel. In the case of using more sauna sheets 700,- HUF (~3 EUR) will be charged on the room account.
5. What can I do if I didn’t bring slippers with me? Can I go into the pool area without that?
Because of danger the pool and sauna area can not be resort to without slipper! Our guests arriving without it can buy slipper at the wellness reception. The price of it – 600,- HUF (~2 EUR) – will be charged on the room’s account.
6. What to do if I did not bring swimming suit with myself?
Please ask our wellness reception staff trustingly, they will help you supply a swimming suit.
7. Is it possible to use the wellness section by outsiders?

8. What are the sauna conventions in the sauna section?
In our wellness section – considering the Hungarian sauna habits – it is not allowed to visit the saunas without swimming dress or sauna sheet. Our wellness reception provides large-sized sauna sheets, please wrap it around you. Thank you for understanding!
Questions and answers about the restaurant and table reservation:
1. What are the opening hours of Mandula Restaurant?
Opening hours: Tuesday-Thursday 18:00-22:00, Friday-Saturday 12:00-15:00 és 18:00-22:00, Sunday-Monday: closed.
2. How can we have a meal beyond the opening hours of the restaurant?
For the hotel guests the service and the half board catering are ensured on weekdays daytime and also on Sunday and Monday. The Gere-Wine bar is open every day between 10-22 and waits our dear guests with exclusive bistro menu.
3. Is it necessary to book a table and shall we tell in advance what kind of dinner we would like to have ?
Yes, we ask you to indicate your table booking intention in all cases! We provide many kinds of dinner in our restaurant: based on a’la carte gourmet and bistro menu a 3 course dinner (half board), Degustation wine dinner (with 4-5 or 6-7 courses). From our Gourmet menu you can choose only in the evening hours of the restaurant but you can have a 3 course wine dinner any time. For these it is not necessary to registry in advance (up to max. 8-10 persons). We can serve the degustation wine dinner only in the case of reservation in advance! Please indicate this kind of request min. 3 days before arrival.
Questions about Gere Winery:
1. When is it possible to visit Gere Winery and the hotel’s old cellar?
For our hotel guests we organize Winery visiting program in the case of registration in advance. Weekdays from 16:30, on Saturday from 16. The winery-walk is approximately 40 minutes. According to agreement you can have the chosen wine tasting in the winery or in the hotel’s restaurant. You can visit the old cellar of the Hotel any time except breakfast hours (7:00-10:00) and the evening hours of Mandula Restaurant (18:00-22:00).
1. Can I take pet to the hotel?
No, the hotel does not allow pets.
2. Is there internet access?
Yes, in the whole area of the hotel free wifi connection is ensured, furthermore a computer is provided for use by the hotel guests.
